As with your vehicle or boiler, it's recommended that your security system is serviced and inspected at least once per year. Regular preventative maintenance helps to ensure that your systems are working at optimal performance, meaning that it's protecting your property as best as it possibly can. It'll also help extend the working life, diagnose any potential failing components, ultimately reducing the risk of a system breakdown and related repair costs.

If you purchased your system from Protec

All systems supplied and installed by Protec are inclusive of 12-months warranty guarantee, as well as any manufacturers warranties available with the equipment. Within this period, our professional maintenance engineers will be available 24/7 to attend to any fault repairs.

However, please note that the following faults caused by the following reason are not covered by our warranty:

• Vandalism/Wilful damage
• System misuse
• Forced break-ins
• Third party work such as construction
• Work carried out by a Non-Amblecote engineer

Perhaps you have just moved into a new property which already has an existing access control or CCTV system, or simply looking for peace of mind with your existing security system, Protec can provide you with an annual maintenance contract which can be tailored to suit your individual needs.

Preventative Maintenance

This is the most basic form of maintenance contract offered by Protec which includes an annual visit to the site at a time of your convenience to inspect the following:

• Handset functions
• Replacing any blown lights
• Full safety inspection
• Control equipment tests

Full Cover Maintenance

The full cover maintenance contract includes everything covered in the preventative maintenance and the following:

• Costs of parts required for repairs
• Any call-out fee and labour costs
