A coded keypad is an enhanced version of the basic key and lock concept, except there is no real key; you can only gain access if you put in the correct passcode, this will eliminate the risk of lost and stolen keys. They also allow the option to change the passcode if there is a risk of compromise. The passcode can be purely numerical or alphabetical depending on the input system.

We can supply most brands of keypads, although we usually supply units that are durable, easy to programme and those that retain their data in the event of power failure. This has the benefit of eliminating additional equipment, such as a battery back-up system, which adds to the cost.
